Description:
As a UI/UX Designer at CFI with a background in graphic design, you will play a critical role in developing user-centric digital experiences across multiple platforms, including website, landing pages, mobile apps, and web apps. Your expertise in visual and UX design will elevate our digital products, ensuring they not only meet users needs but also engage and delight them. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring our products to life and shape the future of our digital experiences.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Core Design Functions:
- User Interface Design: Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications that align with our brand identity and user expectations.
- User Experience Design: Conduct user research, user testing, and usability evaluations to gather insights that refine user journeys and interactions.
- Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to showcase design concepts and validate ideas with stakeholders and users.
- Graphic Design Integration: Seamlessly integrate graphic design elements into digital interfaces, ensuring a cohesive and visually pleasing user experience.
- Product Analysis & Innovation: Conduct a thorough analysis of competitors and internal operations to identify gaps and opportunities. Propose innovative ideas and features that would enhance CFI's user experience and support business growth.
Product Design:
- Website and Landing Pages: Design and optimize the user experience for CFI's website and landing pages.
- Mobile App Features: Develop UI/UX designs for new and existing features on CFI's mobile applications.
- Web App Features: Design user interfaces and experiences for CFI's web applications.
- Onboarding Designs and Testing: Design and test user onboarding experiences, ensuring new users can easily navigate and utilize our platforms effectively.
- Email Templates: Create designs for email communication through and ensure a user centric content structure.
- Cross-Platform Consistency: Ensure that all CFI platforms (Website, Mobile App, Web App, etc…) are seamlessly connected and maintain a homogenous design and experience.
Team Collaboration and Documentation:
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to translate requirements and business objectives into compelling design solutions.
- Technical Documentation: Collaborate with the team in creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation that illustrates design ideas and explains the rationale behind design decisions that will help the development team with the implementation.
- Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and communicate effectively to highlight and resolve any UX/UI issues that may arise.
- Design Guidelines: Maintain and update design guidelines and style libraries to ensure consistency across all digital products.
- Feedback Incorporation: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from team members, stakeholders, and end-users to continuously improve designs.
- System Testing and Auditing: Assist with testing and monitoring system performance. Identify and resolve UI/UX issues and ensure effective system audits and analyses.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports based on testing and review activities.
Education and Experience
- Educational Background: BA/BS degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on UI/UX design experience. Experience in the financial technologies and online trading domain is a plus.
- Research and Analytics: Proficiency in using research and analytics to inform design decisions.
- Design Expertise: Ability in crafting various design artifacts such as flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Best Practices: Familiarity with best practices for mobile and web design, and a deep understanding of usability principles and techniques.
- Collaboration: Experience in team collaboration throughout the design process.
- Independent Drive: Ability to independently drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements.
- Architecture: Experience in web and mobile architecture is valuable.
- Portfolio: Should showcase a depth of experience in creating user-centered design solutions.
Skills:
- Proficiency in UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
- Mastery of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, and Miro. Experience with Adobe after effects is a plus.
- Experience in wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Adept at conducting user research and usability testing.
- Deep understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and responsive web design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
