Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cost Controller to join our team at CFI. As the Cost Controller Manager, you will be responsible to play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing expenses while providing critical financial insights to support the decision-making. This position is responsible for overseeing cost control initiatives and conducting in-depth financial analysis to enhance the company's financial performance.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost control strategies and initiatives to optimize expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Monitor and analyze MOM expenditure patterns per service and per account identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads and teams to implement cost-saving measures without compromising operational quality.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Manage the allocation of expenses to different departments and Markets as well as cost centers.
- Ensure accurate and timely booking of expenses by collaborating with the R2R team.
- Develop and maintain expense policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Monitor budget variances and work with stakeholders to address deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide analyses on the supplier contracts such as marketing suppliers.
- Continuously assess vendor performance and seek opportunities to optimize supplier relationships.
- Build and maintain financial models to support long-term financial planning and decision-making.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounting & financial management, cost control, R2R and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in preparing and analyzing Financial statements, and Management accounts.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
- Previous experience in Finance department within Financial brokerage is considered high advantage.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
