Description:
We are seeking to recruit a VP - Business Development responsible to generate leads to expand the client base and grow the book of business.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Identify potential clients through different channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals.
- Build relationships with potential clients by understanding their needs, providing excellent service, and communicating the value of our products or services.
- Nurture relationships with existing clients by providing excellent service, regular communication, and ongoing support.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and the products or services offered.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, listen actively to customer requirements, and recommend customized solutions that align with their financial objectives and goals.
- Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients by providing additional products or services that complement their current portfolio.
- Implement effective sales strategies, maintain a constant pipeline of prospects and convert leads into closed deals.
- Ensure a proper documentation and reporting of all client interactions, sales activities, and relevant information in CRM systems.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status and forecasting to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to gather insights, align strategies, and provide feedback to improve overall sales effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, sales techniques, and professional development opportunities.
- Lead, mentor and provide guidance to team members allowing them to achieve their objectives.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract, onboard, and retain HNW (high net worth) clients.
- Represent the company at high-profile events, conferences, and private networking opportunities to build brand credibility with HNW (high net worth) audiences.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Financial Engineering or any other related field
• 5+ years of experience in the field is requested
• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Strategic thinking: ability to focus on the overall growth
• Negotiation: ability to communicate, negotiate and close deals
• Influencer: ability to lead, mentor and influence team members
• Result driven: willingness to continuously achieve desired result
